Waitby School on VisitBritain SuperBlog

A couple of weekends ago, a VisitBritain SuperBlogger visited Waitby School – and what a nice chap he is.

VisitBritain is the UK’s National Tourism agency which promotes Britain overseas and it created this travel blog to bring together, “Some of the most influential and creative minds in travel writing to create a lively, innovative blog about Britain, updated daily with fun, unusual and informative ideas for things to see and do in the United Kingdom.”

VisitBritain has enlisted established and respected bloggers, journalists, travel writers and social media professionals from around the world to write the blog, which provides inspiration and tips to anyone who is considering holidaying in Britain.

Walk from Waitby School

We were delighted to take Paul on one of our favourite walks near Waitby School

Paul Steele, who is based in the Eden Valley, is also known as the ‘Bald Hiker’ and runs an enormously popular travel blog and Twitter feed – have a look at his site and you’ll see why we were so pleased to see him!

We showed Paul our favourite walk on Waitby School’s doorstep, around Smardale Gill Nature Reserve then up across the fells…

We had a great time, and he has a fascinating story to tell – click here to find out more.

Then read his blog about Waitby School on the SuperBlog page – it’s fantastic!
